Student-Centered, Authentic Assessment

Students learn the most from project-based experiences that center directly upon them, and are rooted in rigor and relevance. My students learn about where their food comes from, and how to make informed decisions on eating well, for a unit on sustainability with Harvard Professor Michael Pollan’s text, The Omnivore’s Dilemma.
